This song was like the finale of my 8 year relationship I had. It was basically me saying "look it's not working out because your like this and I'm like this, so let's knock this off and make it right. If we can't do that, then this doesn't need to be." Every decision we made with each other was a gamble because we didn't know where we would end up next, whether if it was with each other or not. It was a bit scary.
