I wrote "Cheers" while sitting in my car at work. I wanted to have an intro and a reprise in the album and this song felt perfect to me after I wrote it. It's supposed to open up as me doing an open mic at a bar and singing about the two sides of me that have affected me for over a year and a half. All in all, it's an acceptance and acknowledgement that there is something wrong in my life and that I need to let the negativity go.
